Meet Aly,Crochet that never sleeps.

I met Aly 2 years ago on our team of Fashion,Design and Lifestyles.
Originally from Venezuela, you can see nature inspired pieces in every one of her crocheted creations, probably because she was always surrounded by green, trees, jungle. Her profile is simple and clear about who she is and her style: "I love Fiber arts, nature, flowers and birds are my fav! :-) Love my family with all I have"
When she finished this piece she said: I visited a Lake, right here in south Louisiana... the day was pretty and inspiring... then my necklace came to live today... :-)

One of my favorites,it is a complete artwork or work of art,it seems like her hands create magic.

Another of my favorites in peacock colors.Something else we share.

Her new line of hair pieces is outstanding. I have one that I wear every time I want to make a statement.

She creates custom orders and it is always ready for a new project!

I suggest you to visit her shop and you won't regret it...Be ready to shop

Trimirror, much more than a Fashion website.

I found Kaia on Twitter and was soon very impressed by her talent as a young fashionista.

Trimirror and how to receive a good surprise.
http://www.trimirror.com/
Kaia Korbell is one of the bright minds behind Trimirror.com, a very original place on the web where you can do a lot more than surf.
It all started with a curiosity to make use of the iPhone or other camera smartphones when shopping for clothes, accessories, and other fun stuff, finding something awesome in a store, but not sure whether it suits? Do these shoes go with that purse, or this necktie with that shirt?...Or, that store has some phenomenal things for great prices and this blouse/shirt/jacket is really cool! And team triMirror wished they could share their excitement about it with others!

And so on... It became an idea to create a place to do just this!
There are many options to browse, ask questions and get answers for Women, Men, Teens, about Shoes, Accessories, Children, Trends, Budget, Blog,
Forums, Photos, Spaces and People. It is totally funny and interesting the way Kaia proposes the comunity a new adventure on every post. You can post your own photo, your favorite look, questions about a new purchase or what to do with that genius item you got at the thrill of the hunt (and now you don't know how to wear it or don't have any matching outfit for it). You get answers, tons of responses from a very nice population that know what they are talking about.

A bit about Kaia
Kaia received her first paying stylist job when she was only 16, has had a love for fashion, dressing up, and styling since she was one year old! Her favorite thing to do as a child was play dress up with her Mom who always took time to look her best in a delicate feminine proud way.
Luckily something that was always a passionate hobby has become her career.
The fact that she grew in a very preppy town (that she really disliked but loved being super feminine always in skirts and heels) helped her form wonderful feminine outfits outside of the preppy realm, relying on lots of vintage inspired looks :)
Her Mom, Dad, and Grandmother, her best friends other than the love of her life, Eric, inspire her every day with creativity.
She is such a people person. This is not a job for her, its fun! She wakes up every day smiling so thrilled to start her day's work! She was raised with passion and she keeps up the good job!
Her advice for new fashionistas is: Don't be discouraged! And don't hold out for the "dream job" They say you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find you prince, well you may have to scrub a lot of toilets to get to that corner office, but do it! Any job is a gift and will pay off.
Her plans for Trimirror are to continue expanding the website and applications with new exciting interactive features!! to make a community for everyone to feel at home and welcome! stay tuned! http://www.trimirror.com/
The website just released a new Droid app, and a new iPhone app is around the corner! We are always brainstorming ideas to make triMirror even better! The favorite ideas come from the Trimirror community and friends!

Her favorite places online are Kaboodle as well as heartIFB where the community feel is great! Everyone is so supportive and responsive!
Last but not least I asked Kaia her plans for her personal future and she responded: In the next five years I hope to see myself happy, healthy, working hard, supported by my wonderful work, ready to be a Mommy if not already :) Embracing life's gift with so much gratitude and thanks!

Fall Fashion Runway

A big entrance starts with a painted catsuit with flags and symbols. The runway for fall 2010 is filled with blacks, whites and grey tones. As Lanvin showed.

Mix of temporal colors: teals and reds, warm and cold colors alltogether. The presence of feathers, fur and more types of fur is absolute.Pheasant, sheep, fur, leather completed the path. The introduction, one more time of camel, made an appearance that was come back from many years ago.
For the hair, laid back, ponitail, rodette, ballerina style. For accessories: birds again.Feathers on shoes and on jewelry, gold tones and diamonds.Mix of textures, some soft ,a lot of bold.Green accents, nature alive, animals not in prints but in skin. Chains, halter tops, very hard core.

The bride, what a better chance I have to close the show with a Swan Like gown designed by Alexander Mc Queen as the text recites: left the earth with a slice of heaven.

Black and white always a classic.

Ruffles, metallics, layered pieces and prints.Another must for the fall. From the printed background to the painted feather it is all handmade, handpainted and designed by me.
The criss-cross pattern simulates a raging string of metallic tones in silver, charcoal and black at front and back of the ruflled tunic.
Ravishing ruffles from side to side of the tunic.Wide and deep round horseshoe neck ends in a Y back style. With leggings or not, don't even get me started.

I finished my last designs for Statement Necklaces

Today was very exciting. After watching last night the Rachel Zoe project until very late hours(everything last night was out of control: from Channel,to Ungaro,LACROIX and of course Galliano) I woke up to a message from my friend and colleague Jenn of my "dailychallenge"team who informed me that the purple tunic made it to the front page as you can see in the left side of this story.
By the way ,take the chance and visit her awesome shops :

Next, adding comments and post to my daily thread of team mates that you can visit too:
http://www.etsy.com/forums_thread.php?thread_id=6305547. After that, mail got me good news: the battery packs for my digital camera that helped me as usual to take new pics of my creations. And now a description for all of you interested on them:

Give life to your dress with a statement necklace that it really is one of a kind!
My latest creations,a handpainted peacock on a half moon necklace made form different fabrics:from silks to denim and rustics like tapestry.

My new addition is the painted feather matching the colorful palette.

Ties into a sheer ribbon or a couple of lacy strings or an ivory big strap at the back so you can adjust the length according to your needs.

The necklace is 10" wide and drops 8" on the front.

Purples and magentas:a must for fall. Harvest dominion: copper, bronze, rust and finally just on time: candycorn themed: orange, yellow, gold.
