Finding a bride for these wedges.

The picture doesn't make justice. They shine, a lot!
So I visited one of my favorite stores and found that they have now an I do section.
Sucker for white dresses and Art Deco and now in love with lace.

My look for Valentine's day

I'd love to buy me all this...and wear them!
A Maxi Dress in a realy versatile piece, it can look amazing for the day time
A peshtemal is a Turkish traditional towel used in the Turkish baths. It is also used to specify which region people are from and is a part of a deep cultural tradition. In some places, it's called pestamal or pestemal. There are many kinds of peshtamals, with different styles and colors in each local areas in Turkey.
Next to red and pink, purple is next on my favorite colors list! These were custom made for some very stylish bridesmaids and turned out so cute I had to make some extras.
One of a kind assemblage statement necklace inspired by the film “Black Swan”.

Silver metal wing stampings have been painted and oxidized, the surface was brushed to bring out some of the silver for more depth, and sealed with wax to protect its patina. The backs of the wings remain its original antiqued silver color.

And honoring my Lord, I would wear the Beautiful lily-of-the-valley flowers feature on both sides of this linen/cotton mix clutch, lined in pink silk for a little luxury every time it is opened.

10 TIMES UNGARO

I'm always inspired by great designers, and as Michael Kors said, if you are a designer and you say that you don't know the great ones or you don't care, you are lying. Straight. Emmanuel Ungaro(what a beautiful name!) has being one of my favorites in floral print designs, like Roberto Cavalli is for printed and painted. So ,without further addo ,here goes my inspiration of the day, a dress that can be worn in many ways, for many occasion and style.Don't look for it in my web site.Is not ready to the public. It will be out in the catwalk soon.Leave your feedback.I'm open minded.

This is what I call FASHION

Designer iPhones, move over. For the ultimate fashion-meets-technology accessory, be on the lookout for Vivienne Tam’s Digital Clutch by HP in her 2009 Summer collection. The first of its kind.
At first glance, it’s a chic red peony design clutch that matches beautifully with dresses in Tam’s summer line and could be paired with jeans for a flirty day look or a cocktail dress for an elegant evening look. But on the inside you find the latest in HP’s mini-notebook technology with a 10-inch LCD screen and bright red keyboard that includes the Chinese symbol for “double happiness” on the enter button.
In an interview with GeekSugar Tam explains she chose the peony design for the computer because of the flower’s beauty and the person who carries the computer should feel a sense of peace, lightness and beauty like being in a garden surrounded by flowers. Her goal was to combat the sense of being “boxed in” that technology sometimes makes people feel by adding an element of nature.
No word yet on the sticker price for such a chic way of getting peace and technology, but the digital clutch is set to be available next year and will probably find its way into the arms of many fashionistas come next spring.
Now, if only it could hold a tube of lipgloss and a set car keys.

Here is your place to decide

If you’ve ever spent an hour trying to figure out what to wear, spent hours searching to find the right shoes to go with a skirt your just purchased or have had trouble putting an outfit together (like yours truly), here’s a solution: go to polyvore.com. This is a web site where I go mostly to show my unique items, since they love uniqueness. There you can mix and match pieces from hundreds of websites to create a virtual outfit or simple create a clothing/accessory collage. It’s super easy, really fun and a little addicting. To help filter through the hundreds of choices, you can type in exactly what you’re looking (example: brown wedges, blue purse, etc.) and poof! A wide selection of choices is displayed. Just drag and drop what you want from the menu to your work area. If you need inspiration, browse through the multitude of collages other users have created of which, you can also narrow down your choices by selecting a main color. When you’ve finally got your outfit collage together, polyvore creates a link for you to post your creation in a blog or a message board. Take your creation a step further and actually bring your outfit to life. Each item you use is listed with the website link so you can purchase the item for your actual closet. Talk about making dreams come true.

Concentric circles painted like retro stitches

I painted concentric circles like stitches in gold, copper, and bronze fabric paint to give the dress a sixties retro look. The bottom part of the dress looks like the belt and loops of a pair of jeans making it unique and so different.Dress it up with bronze strappy sandals to a very sassy night out or just rattan flip-flops for day time!.
Invisible Zipper in the side for a better fitting.
It is one of a kind and my original design.
This is the only one I have , no other sizes. No stencil, no copies. This is a unique hand painted Dress in dark brown denim from C-Loe Paris.
Talla 3 or size medium.
Measurements are : 38 " around bustier in the widest area ,33" waist , 40 " around hips and 30 1/2 " long from collar to lower end dress.

I use fabric paint. The paint doesn't fade and the colors stay shiny always. Glitters are water resistant because they are mixed with the paint.
Regular wash or hand wash is recommended. No dry clean, no bleach,no fabric softener, please. When iron , don't press on painting.

If you prefer to have it on your own favorite jeans ,jacket ,outfit, canvas or where your imagination goes , contact me and I will charge you only for the painting.

Hope you love it!!E-mail me for any questions at norakaren2002 [!at] yahoo.com

Oh when the peacock go marching in!

I learned this song when I was very young.I heard it for the first time in spanish at the baptist church and I love it! The message is so great and powerful and best of all talks about the future. Aren't you interested in the future?
Let's go back to the peacock.Another young lady from church asked me for a custom order of a peacock painted in the back of a plus size dress. It looks very good right?

Fashion,Design and Lifestyle Debutante Ball

Fashion, Design, and Lifestyle: Debutante Ball Team Project May 2008

I am lucky to belong to a very talented team on etsy.com called Fashion, Design, and Lifestyle aka FDL. We get a lot of information from each other, promote our shops(many members have been featured here)and we collaborate and discuss about trends, color, fashion and styles. The team just recently decided to open up a store on etsy. (http://fdlteam.etsy.com )and I'd love you to go there and post your comments or take a look at our creative members blogs and pics.I'm still working on my dress , very hard work on a totally upcycled patchwork theme, that means, using bootlegs from many differents kinds and tones on blue jeans, I created a dress, that fits like a glove. I added real turquoise beadings and flowers, in turquoise too ( our chosen color).I can't wait to post the pictures, in the meantime,go there, observe and be ready for shopping!
