I knew it: Honeysuckle,Wedding trend 2011!

Trends:
There are three main trends for colour themes in 2011. The vintage feel, catwalk nudes and the color 'pop'.The color pop will work brilliantly at any summer or autumn wedding and bright colors big for 2011 include hot pinks, bright oranges, azure blues and apple greens.
The 2011 wedding trends include rustic-chic concepts, lots of details and a ton of creativity. Outdoor weddings are a big must as soon as the sun begins to shine (or not!) and indoor weddings are getting a little break.
Driftwood Burnt Orange Sandals
Decor:
Faux rose petals, diamond confetti and shells/starfish remain the most popular confetti. Also, flowering vines or individually cut flowers are placed directly onto table linens. Reception chairs are decorated with either tulle, fabric overlays, floral swags and/or ribbons. Other popular decorating items include Chinese lanterns, garlands and balloons. Disposable cameras, placed on each table, allow guests to capture candid moments

Shorter trains and veils (especially the bird cage veil) are popular as are pretty boleros, and shawls. For colder weather, brides choose wraps of faux-fur, velvet, heavy satin, or pashmina. Light weight fabrics, including organza, lace, tulle and chiffon, make perfect wraps for the Spring or Summer bride and reduce sun exposure on bare arms and shoulders.
Favorites:
Pearls, rhinestones, and crystals remain the top jewelry choice for necklaces and earrings. Crystal brooches are also a popular accent for wearing on the dress, in the hair or on the bouquet handle.

Vintage Is In

This upcoming year’s weddings will be more low-key, largely because the economy demands. And because of this, the vintage wedding theme has become popular. Brides are catching vintage fever and falling head over heels for retro looks like Depression era glass and tea-length dresses. As a benefit, vintage looks are not only classic but eco-friendly and inexpensive so brides can channel old-school glamor with a modern twist while keeping budget worries at bay.

Colors:
A few color combos I love for your 201wedding are:
Teal and Coral
Vintage Purple and Sky Blue
Emerald and Cream
Mauve and Wine
Lilac and Sky Blue
Wine and Blush Pink
Sky Blue and Light Yellow
Mocha and Blush Pink
Warm Gray and any Pink or Coral or Blue or Purple
Olive and Mauve
Mint and Vintage Purple

If you like purples try ~ Lilac, Lavender, Periwinkle, Purple, add Sky Blue as an accent.
If you love bright pink try ~ Hot pink, Fuchsia, Light pink, Red, add Lime or Tangerine as your accent color!
If you adore warm oranges try ~ Tangerine, Coral, Red, add soft Violet, Sky Blue or Fuchsia as your accent color.
If you like burgundy try ~ Dark Green, Golds, Champagne, Creams, add any of these as your accent.
If you love blues try ~ Deep Ocean Blue, Navy Blue, Sky Blue, Periwinkle, add Tangerine, Silver or Sandy Brown as your accent.
Fall colors ~ Burgundy, Dark Green, Navy Blue, Silver, Gold, Creams, Burnt Orange, Taupe, Brown and Plum.
Accessories:
No self-respecting bride will be bareheaded in 2011! The wedding shows have been jam packed with chic headwear. From glittering tiaras to headbands trimmed with extra large flowers in contrasting tones and sweet 50's style half veils, the embellishment and detailing trend is finished off with headwear. Many bridal specialists are happy to sell you just accessories, so you can have fun putting your bridal outfit together from different designers in much the same way you would a new outfit for any occasion.

Stylish Blogger Award

I was given the Stylish Blogger Award by Nala of JewlerybyNala. Thanks, doll ;)

Much like the Sunshine Award, the Stylish Blogger Award is passed on from blogger to blogger. When you receive the award from someone, you're supposed to write seven things about yourself on your blog and pass the award on to 15 other recently discovered blogs you think deserve this award, too. So here are my seven things ...
  • I'm a South American lady who lives in the Sunshine State with my beautiful family of 5.(my favorite number).I actually didn't chose to have a big family,I have 2 teens and a surprise baby. In the photos you can see us all.

  • I always painted, draw and design since I was a very young girl, that is my passion.
  • I believe in God and I love the Best and First Designer and His Creations.
  • I value when people is kind to everybody and when they smile to anybody, even if they are not friends. There is nothing better than someone with a great sense of humor.
  • I could eat cheese for my 4 meals!
  • I'm healthy but always fighting to loose weight (well, life is not perfect,is it?)
  • Children are my concern. We can not forget others suffering. The American way of life is a privileged life. Sadly,in multitude of places in the world people live in hostile situations, with hunger, famine and sickness, violence and crime.

Mary Janes for Weddings, pure comfort and style.

Traditionally Mary Janes are a variety of shoe worn mainly by young girls. In modern times they are worn by women of all ages. Mary Janes are typically considered formal for girls and informal when worn by women. And now so in fashion to wear on your Wedding day with all the comfort and style.
Working on Mary Janes for Bridal Designs has been one of the most entertaining jobs.
I was asked lately for two options that are also a come back to stay trend: Tiffany Blue and Hot Pink.

Tiffany Blue is the colloquial name for the blue color associated with Tiffany & Co., the New York City jewelry company founded on 1837.It has been always synonymous of elegance and classiness.
This cute and sexy design has a girly-lolita look
Tiffany blue mary janes or guillerminas are brand new customized by request in any color or design matching your gown, outfit or costume or just to wear for fun!

Hot pinks  are a yummy pair. Sexy design for a girlie-lolita like or doll look alike! Hot pink mary janes or guillerminas are brand new customized by request in any color or design matching your outfit or costume or just to wear for fun!
Brand new. They take a week to order and another week to customize.
I love the style ,they are 2" tall but as comfortable as a flat shoe. They feature 2 pink straps and 2 cute bows each.

You can find them or have them made for you with your favorite customized color and design at

Old 1950's Hollywood Glamour is so in fashion again

There is something so elegant about antiquated styling that it’s impossible to forget what existed not long ago and created a milestone in the Fashion World. I'm talking about the Old 1950's Hollywood Glamour.
Vintage fashion are back, finding treasures that you have been hiding and saving for that particular occasion or even better, that costume and now you find yourself pulling them out of  those dusty boxes  or visiting your local vintage boutique. For the Bridal it is like a new wave of reminiscent accessories and why not gowns and shoes. I have been asked at least five  times in the last year to create shoes inspired in  the Glamour Era.
If you love the 1950's inspired, Old Hollywood glamour bridal Shoes and dresses and the whole theme, you must check out these fabulous and unique wedding shoes.
These designs are  perfect for an outdoor or indoor super elegant wedding going for an old Hollywood glamour look.
The colors are red with gold accents featuring a falling filigree surrounded by gold pearls.A centered cameo filled with roses and a little gold bow with colored pearls.

On the original super stunning and classy shoe painted with peacock feathers and its eyes on deep blue, peacock blue, turquoise and golden brown, pheasant dyed feathers,a Beckoning Blue Giant Aster and a bird cage with navy polka dots.
Hollywood inspired items could have worn like Marilyn Monroe ,Joan Crawford,Bette Davis ,Elizabeth Taylor,Susan Hayward,Grace Kelly,Sophia Lauren,Audrey Hepburn and such a long list of Femme Fatals. I add many accessories to the mood board so you can get inspiration too.

From Europe with love

Today,I'm inspired by the many cultures that live together in the fashion world as well on the USA.
We are a big group of people from all over the World, adding our small sand dust to the big frame of the Global Market. Most of the pics feature cities or places in Europe to remind us of the great trends that affect our daily fashionable life.
